“A violinist, fiddler and cellist who serves as a sideman and session player for an amazing who’s who of various genres, Carmichael seems to have found where he wants to be in the music business and also found recognition by the artists and music makers who avail themselves of his services.”

Don Thomason, The Amplifier Magazine Dec. 1999

Carmichael’s television and radio appearances include the 71st Academy Awards, The Tonight Show, The Academy of Country Music Awards, The Country Music Association Awards, CBS Morning Show, The View, A Prairie Home Companion, Noddy, and many others. “One of my favorite things about this recording is Chris Carmichael’s one-man string quartet. He’s a secret weapon of alot of Nashville’s better recordings.”
